Since being formed in Fort Worth, Texas in 2007, AIE has been constantly expanding its reach and increasing its capabilities. In 2008 AIE acquired the environmental division of a large Dallas/Fort Worth based construction firm, adding significantly to AIE's already robust cache of specialized equipment. In 2009 AIE opened its first branch office in Texarkana, Texas, servicing East Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Eastern Oklahoma. In 2012 the Company opened a branch in Midland, Texas, servicing the entire Permian Basin, to include far West Texas and Southern New Mexico.

Currently, AIE is in the process of standing up a branch office south of San Antonio, Texas to service the Eagle Ford Shale and far South Texas.
