AlEn USA is the North American subsidiary of one of the most recognized companies in the household cleaning products category in Mexico: Industrias AlEn S.A de C.V (Grupo AlEn). Since its beginning in 1949, Grupo AlEn has pioneered the development of well-known consumer brands that have been able to breed strong heritage in the Mexican market. Brands such as CLORALEX (the #1 bleach in Mexico) and Pinol® (the #1 Heavy Duty cleaner in Mexico) were the first products in their class to hit the Mexican market and has been striving for a cleaner and more sustainable world for nearly 70 years*.

We currently have 5 manufacturing plants and 2 recycling facilities that are clean-industry certified by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency (PROFEPA; Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Medio Ambiente in Spanish).

In 2011, we delved into the agroforestry industry — sustainable agriculture dedicated to planting and processing palm and pine trees for the production of sustainable raw materials — and it has contributed to promoting the progress and development of Mexican fields and communities. At the beginning of 2017, we kicked off operations at the largest and most-modern palm oil extraction plant in Latin America.
