Terry and Roxie Albers are active members of the community of Long Lake and Orono. They are 25 year members of the Long Lake Chamber of Commerce where Roxie has served as President, VP and treasurer. In 1998 Roxie was chosen by the Chamber to be the Long Lake Person of the Year for her outstanding volunteerism in the community. The Albers family has been members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Lake for 25 years, and long time supporters of the Orono School District and the Orono Alliance for Education.

Terry Albers is a member of the Jewelers of America, Minnesota Jewelers Association, Minnesota Clock and Watchman Association and the Minnesota Better Business Bureau.

Albers Jewelry provides high quality watch repair by two graduate watchmakers.

Albers has been restoring watches to accurate time keeping since opening it's doors in 1986. Terry Albers has been a practicing watch repairman since 1975. He services all makes of timepieces from turn of the century pocket watches to quartz, kinetic, automatic, and solar powered wrist watches.
