AKTA GmbH, based in Ludwigsburg, deals with services at the interface between data protection and recycling management. The focus of the activity is on the destruction and subsequent disposal of paper files and all other types of physical data carriers. We also store and archive paper files for our customers. Through cooperation, we can also organize holistic digitization of archives with subsequent destruction of the paper originals.

All operational parts of the company, in particular the vehicle fleet and the spacious data security center including file storage, are concentrated at the Benningen am Neckar location. Administration is carried out from the KURZ Group's corporate headquarters in Ludwigsburg.

AKTA continues a success story that began almost a quarter of a century ago under the name KURZ, when the first file shredder was put into operation in Benningen. This met the increasing demand from the existing customer base, because the awareness of the all-encompassing data protection and the corresponding legislation developed increasingly. KURZ recognized the business area and its special features. While many competitors left it with the acquisition of a file shredder, KURZ took care of the complete design of the service on the basis of the applicable legal norms and market requirements.

As early as 2010, the decision was made to introduce the AKTA brand in order to create a more prominent market presence for the business division of the KURZ Group that was created in this way. The targeted growth should create the framework for further investments in specialization. The success proved us right and in 2016 the next step consistently followed: The file and data carrier destruction division was put on an independent footing with AKTA GmbH. AKTA today stands for a motivated and competent team, impressive technology, efficient logistics and thus also legally mature, certified service.

Our customers include well-known banks, all types of institutions from the healthcare sector, law firms, authorities, large and small industrial, commercial and handicraft companies and, last but not least, private households.
