Andrew Steiger is the local business owner and operator of AJS Waste Solutions, as well as a full-time employee of 10 years for the Hilton DPW. AJS Waste Solutions is a full-service waste hauling company started in 2014 to serve residents and businesses in the greater Rochester community. In an effort to divert as much material from landfills as possible, my business is focused on recycling and disposal of materials in the proper manner. 

AJS Waste Solutions started with a passion for garbage and recycling. Its owner Andrew Steiger has been involved in the garbage industry since he was in diapers and his mom would take him to the window on garbage days. From the excitement of seeing the trucks at a young age it turned into a passion growing up researching and learning more about the industry as a whole. Andrew Steiger has been part of the solid waste association of America (SWANA) and New York States Association of Solid Waste Management for Years. Diverting as much solid waste from Landfills to save space to create longer landfill lifespans has always been a priority for Andrew.  AJS Waste Solutions started with roll off Dumpsters back in 2014 serving residents, businesses, and contractors. Now with an expanded fleet AJS Waste Solutions can service everyone with leading service that’s focused on leading customer service and on time service to help any project move along effectively, efficiently, and at low costs. As his passion grew, in 2023, AJS expanded into residential garbage services to continue serving the community. Andrew and his wife Kayla continue to grow AJS Waste Solutions to be the leading waste service in the greater Rochester area through passion and commitment to customer service and care.
