ACME Dynamics, Inc. f/k/a ACME Sykes Pumps manufactures, sells and rents high performance, fully automatic dry prime, DYNAPRIME®, ACME Sykes Pumps, and ACME Sykes Pump Parts.  These portable all purpose centrifugal trash pumps are manufactured for the municipal, industrial, mining, refinery, petrochemical, and construction industries, with sound attenuated (quiet) versions for residential and noise restricted environments.  These fully automatic vacuum assist dry prime centrifugal trash pumps are used  every day in projects like temporary sewage bypass, construction site dewatering, wellpoint dewatering, stream diversion, sludge and wastewater removal, remediation or most any type of fluid / liquid transfer applications.  The DYNAPRIME® pump sets will perform well under deep suction lift conditions (30 ft. suction lift at sea level in about 40 seconds), will also work with long suction lines, and are available either diesel or electric driven, and either base, skid, or trailer mounted. All DYNAPRIME® pump sets come standard with run dry capabilities, and will prime from dry conditions.

You may ask yourself why the ACME Dynamics, Inc. logo says “The future in pump technology”. The newest addition to the DYNAPRIME family of pumps is the DYNAPRIMEe range. This is truly the future in pumping. We have developed this innovative pump from the ground up with the future in mind. We used future requirements on noise and exhaust emissions as guiding principles in designing and developing this product. The DYNAPRIMEe QUIETZONE boasts the lowest noise level ratings in the industry with 60 dB(a) at a distance of only 23’. We also designed the pump around today’s diesel engines. New engines are designed to run faster than in the past, and create more horsepower than before. This range of pumps is run comfortably at speeds up to 2600 RPM achieving greater performance in flow and head. This saves on power, and therefore saves fuel.

The priming system employs an electric "e" priming system, which senses when the pump is primed. This feature will shut down the vacuum pump when not needed sending all of the engine’s power to the pump. When the pump starts to lose its prime, the vacuum immediately reactivates, and begins the priming process all over again. The advantage of this is less wear and therefore less maintenance.
