Stolen Scrap Metal Leads To Drug, Weapons Charges

CHICAGO (Scrap Monster): Two Fulton County men have been arrested for possession of stolen scrap metal from a business in Montgomery County.

One of the men was additionally charged with weapons and drug possession.

Shawn Sanders, 37 of Mayfield and Raymond Sanders, 64 of Johnstown were each charged with possession of stolen property degree in connection with stolen axles and transmissions from a Montgomery County business.

hawn Sanders was additionally charged with third degree criminal possession of a weapon for possessing a sawed off shotgun, third degree criminal possession of marijuana for possessing a quantity of processed marijuana and unlawful growing of marijuana for several marijuana plants he had growing at his residence.

Raymond Sanders was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Johnstown Court for Oct 15.

Shawn Sanders was released on $5,000 bond to reappear in both the Mayfield and Johnstown Town Courts to answer his charges.
