New cloud-based software launched for scrap yards and recycling centers

SPOKANE (Scrap Monster): ScrapRight Software has announced the launch of new cloud-based software for scrap yards and recycling centers. The 'iScrapRight' software allows companies to perform ticketing, generate reports and attain state and local compliance.

According to the company, the software allows scrap yards to run tickets and be in compliance in a matter of few minutes. The software is considered as a better alternative to available software, which often is very costly to purchase and may require weeks or even months of waiting period before it gets started. It eliminates the need for new hardware requirement as it is compatible with most of the common devices including Windows PCs, Apple computers, iPads, and many tablets. In addition to web interface, users can also download an iPad app version from Apple App Store.

The software is capable of capturing license, signatures, pictures of seller and materials for ticketing purpose. Receipts can even be printed to Bluetooth-enabled printers. The software has the capability to sync tickets and store them securely to online accounts. The software has additional features intended for customers dealing with catalytic convertors and vehicles, who may require gathering specific information such as VIN-the unique serial number used by the automotive industry.

The software also offers an offline mode in its iPad app to deal with scrap purchases when internet connection is unavailable.

Full compliance version of the software costs about $99 per month. Plans and pricing is based on monthly transaction volume.
