Market Update- 25th May, 2015: Chinese copper scrap prices tumbled

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese copper scrap prices witnessed sharp downfall on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Monday, May 25^th.

#1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 300 per MT over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing and #2 Copper Wire and Tubing too tumbled by CNY 300 per MT each.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery was down CNY 100 per MT to CNY 31,700 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery fell CNY 50 per MT to touch CNY 26,350 per MT.

Copper Transformer scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day. The prices of Cu Yokes declined by CNY 50 per MT.

Cu/Al Radiator scrap prices witnessed decline of CNY 50 per MT.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores were down CNY 50 and CNY 100 per MT respectively on Monday, May 25^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained flat over the previous day.
