Japanese H2 scrap prices rise further

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap increased slightly during the fourth week of August. This is the second consecutive week of price rise. The H2 scrap average prices had marginally increased during last week also.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 31,232/ton during the fourth week of August. The prices increased by ¥ 146/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 31,086/ton during the second week of the month.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 32,000/ton. The average price in Kanto region was up by ¥ 233/ton over the previous week.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 29,320/ton. The average prices appreciated by ¥ 80/ton when compared with the prior week prices.

The H2 scrap average prices increased in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the fourth week of August was ¥ 32,375/ton, up by ¥ 125/ton flat when compared with previous week prices.
