Electronics recycler aims big expansion ahead of holiday season

LOS ANGELES (Scrap Monster): The California-based electronics recycling giant-Electronics Recyclers International (ERI) has announced major expansion plans ahead of upcoming holiday season this year. It intends to hire as many as 205 new employees across five locations. The nation’s leading electronics recycler stated that recycling demand has shown sharp rise over the past few months. The fresh recruitments will also help the company to handle additional recycling volumes during holiday season.

The company has placed an open call for job applications. ERI’s Plainfield, Indiana location will hire 50 new employees. Also, the Aurora, Colorado and Auburn, Washington locations will add 15 employees each. Last week, ERI had announced its plans to recruit 75 employees at its Badin, North Carolina facility and 50 more at Flower Mound, Texas facility.

According to John Shegerian, Chairman and CEO, ERI, the company sees huge growth prospects at all these five locations. Additionally, it expects sharp surge in discarded electronics during the holiday season.

Vacancies are available for several positions including Manager, Assistant Manager, CRT Dismantler, E-Scrap Sorter, Forklift Operator, Repair Specialists and an array of other warehouse positions.
