BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap prices closed on a mixed note on ScrapMonster Price Index as on Monday, August 25th.
#1 HMS prices remained unchanged from the prices a day before. The price of #1 Bare Bright Copper Wire inched higher by CNY 300 per MT. #1 Copper and #2 Copper prices too went up by CNY 300 each per MT.
201 Stainless Steel prices remained flat over the day. The prices of 304 Stainless Steel too remained unchanged at CNY 10,550 per MT. 316 Stainless Steel prices declined by CNY 50 per MT.
Al/Cu Radiator scrap prices climbed higher by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. Cast Iron Scrap prices saw no change in price as on 25th August, 2014.
Nickel scrap prices declined by CNY 300 per MT. Nickel scrap traded at CNY 129,900 per MT.
Shred Stainless Steel prices saw decline of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Shred Zinc and Soft Lead prices too declined by CNY 100 per MT each.
