24th June, 2016: Scrap gold and silver moves higher, Platinum declines

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked moved higher marginally from previous day on Friday, 24^th June, 2016 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Platinum scrap fell over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 30.28 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 38.81 per Oz and $ 47.40 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 19.41 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed decline of $ 12.40 per Oz to reach $ 702.14 per Oz. Silver scrap prices saw marginal up tick of  $0.62 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 28.63 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 36.71 and $ 44.84 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 18.36 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed a decline of $ 12.40 per Oz to reach $ 702.14 per Oz. Meantime, Silver scrap prices inched higher by $ 0.55 per Oz during the day.
