1st Oct, 2015: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum prices declined

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 1^st October, 2015 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 4.71 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 6.03 and $ 7.38 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 3.01 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw sharp cut of $ 2.19 per Oz to reach $ 662.04 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $11.97 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.09 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 4.45 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 5.72 and $ 6.98 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 2.86 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 2.19 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.07 per Oz.
