Despite our diverse product line, wide industry reach, and long history, our mission has always remained the same: to provide cost effective materials to our customers while concurrently providing the technical expertise and support to ensure complete customer satisfaction and project success.This commitment to both high product quality and customer support has allowed Wellman to remain one of the world’s top providers of both virgin and recycled thermoplastic resins.

Through its state of the art 2-Million Square Foot Manufacturing Facility and high-tech Research and Development Center, WPR has the in-house technical capabilities and on-staff technical expertise to create products that are specifically manufactured to fit a customer’s needs. This ability to think “outside the box” has allowed WPR to remain on the cutting edge of the thermoplastic industry and to consistently be the ‘go-to’ compounder for even the most complex of customer projects.

Wellman Plastic Recycling’s Compounding Facility and State of the Art, Research and Development Center is centrally located in Johnsonville, South Carolina. This modern 2-Million Square Foot facility houses the industry’s best technology and is home to the industry’s best trained and most experienced manufacturing and laboratory technicians.
All of Wellman Plastics Recycling’s products are manufactured in ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 accredited facilities and all products are further reviewed in our ISO accredited, Quality Control Laboratories. Furthermore, these processes are monitored by the numerous SIX SIGMA Process and Black Belts personnel that Wellman Plastics Recycling has onsite to ensure that WPR products meet the highest of quality standards.
