Mayer Pollock Steel Corporation was founded in 1888. Since inception, the company has been owned and managed by five generations of the Pollock family. Corporate offices are located at S. Keim St., Pottstown, PA 19464. We have a well established industry presence and an excellent reputation within the ferrous and non-ferrous industries serving a variety of steel mills and foundries. In addition, our operations include industrial demolition and dismantling, rigging, hauling, and the sale of used equipment.
Mayer Pollock Steel Corporation operates four subdivisions centered around customer satisfaction and quality service. The Ferrous, Non-ferrous and Brokerage divisions focus mainly on purchasing, processing and selling both industrial and obsolete material and operate out of three modern scrap processing facilities. The Demolition and Dismantling Division offices are located in Pottstown, PA. The highly skilled and experienced management and supervisory teams, supported by a full fleet of specialty equipment, are prepared to safely handle projects of any size anywhere in the United States.

Mayer Pollock Steel Corporation currently operates three scrap processing facilities located in Pottstown, Reading and Phoenixville, PA. Each facility maintains the most modern processing equipment and services industrial, commercial and individual accounts with over 115 years of experience and reputation in trading ferrous scrap metals. Through our well established long term market relationships we are able to provide each customer with the best market opportunity available.
Our experienced personnel are ready to organize pickup and delivery of your material within your timetable. Our full fleet dump trailers, flat bed, lowboy trailers and experienced drivers is ready to drop off and service your account by removing your metal products safely and efficiently.
We are prepared to assist you with any type of mobile shearing in the continental United States.
Our processing facilities are prepared to handle all kinds of ferrous scrap. We have the necessary equipment, space and industry knowledge to prepare your material into the specialty grades that meet rigid scrap recycling industry specifications.
We have plasma torches, powder torches and mechanical shears that can cut your big tanks, plate and pipe in a low-cost efficient method.
We purchase and process all sizes and grades of heavy breakable cast iron. Our H.B.C. processing facility is located in our Temple, PA scrap yard.
