We also offer construction site clean up of trash, materials and debris- as well as demolition services for any commercial or residential property.
First, we try to donate as many items as possible. We work with Goodwill, Salvation Army and many churches throughout St. Louis. If the charities can’t or won’t take it, then it’s sent to a transfer station. At the transfer station, all items are sorted and separated by material, i.e. concrete, wood, paper, cardboard, metals, etc. Below is a picture of a typical transfer station (we don’t have to include this—just informational)After the materials are sorted they are sent to the appropriate facilities for recycling. Items that can’t be recycled are taken to a landfill, which we are always searching for other outlets for un-recyclables. Currently, StL Junk Removal recycles 65-70% of all items.

We perform interior demolition of commercial and industrial buildings for public agencies and facility owners; and we perform interior demolition in the private sector in environments such as residences, apartments, and condominiums. We take great pride in effectively managing the project; and to keep costs as low as possible, we attempt to recycle all waste debris. We are highly committed to be environmentally conscious of what gets recycled versus what goes to the landfill.Our crews will seal off the work area and use air filtration machines to minimize dust and disturbance to nearby staff. Combining knowledge, experience and highly capable management, we can successfully complete any interior demolition project we undertake, regardless of the size or complexity.
We also take great care in understanding our client’s schedules so that we can man our jobs accordingly. We can add or subtract man-power on the project to meet our client’s needs and finish the work in the clients’ time frame. When we pick up some gently used fixtures, cabinets, or similar material we might take it back to our warehouse for some separating. We donate these items to the Habitat For Humanity where they are able to reuse, resell, or repurpose them.If it was material like plaster, drywall, scrap wood, etc. we will take it straight to Earth Circle Recycling center. They have a state-of-the-art facility utilizing the most sophisticated equipment coupled with experienced line workers to divert over 90% of the material!
When we pick up furniture, clothes, or other household items in good condition we will take it back to our warehouse where we separate it for donation. We donate furniture, clothes, toys, and other items to Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and Goodwill.When we pick up items that are not in such great condition we will bring it to our warehouse where we will still try to find a home for it when possible. When not possible, we take it to Earth Circle Recycling Center where they are able to further sort these items and divert over 40% of municipal solid waste.
