Pricing 

As with all commodities, pricing can fluctuate on a World Wide level based on market conditions at any given time. There are several national publications that monitor these fluctuations and we have found that the best arrangement as to which to use comes from communications with our customers. Prices can be based off the American Metal Market Publication, Iron Age, London Metal Exchange, Comex, etc. The commodity that you generate will best dictate the publication to use.

Payment 

Prompt payment is considered a top priority at Star Scrap Metal. As material comes in, it is our goal to process; i.e., sort and segregate as efficiently as possible to create the best package for our customers as well as our consumers worldwide. Generally speaking, this upgrading process takes from 1 to 5 days at which point payment is prepared and sent. In short, you should receive payment no later than 10 days after a pick up is made, often times sooner.
