Sprint Waste Services was formed in 2006 with a handful of trucks and 15 employees—the vision of founder Joe Swinbank, who has operated within the refining and petrochemical segments of the waste and trucking industries for more than 40 years. Swinbank, aided by his sons and co-owners Will Swinbank and Reagan Swinbank, sought to provide a new waste services option for commercial construction and industrial sites in the greater Houston area.The company grew where it made strong business sense, expanding into complementary markets and adding services that benefited core customers. The Gulf Coast’s oil and gas sector was a natural fit, and by adding the ability to collect and dispose of oilfield waste and refining and petrochemical by-products, we were able to partner with the world’s largest energy companies to manage their entire waste stream.Today, not even 10 years out of the gate, Sprint Waste has grown to more than 500 employees at strategic locations across the Gulf Coast of Texas and Louisiana, and boasts an impressive transportation fleet and thousands of pieces of equipment.

For example, we’ve adopted clean fleet policies for our on-road vehicles and off-road equipment, promote the use of lower-emitting construction equipment, adopted a no-idling policy, and accelerate the turnover of heavy-duty equipment whenever possible. RECYLING AND LANDFILL

We operate our own construction and debris landfill in southwest Houston and a standalone recycling facility in Port Arthur, Texas.The Sprint Fort Bend County Landfill is a type IV construction and demolition landfill that is located in southwest Houston and open to the public. The landfill accepts most bulk and construction debris, including wood, lumber, trees, wire, dirt, concrete, bricks, plastic, metals, green waste, roofing materials, furniture, cloth linen material and appliances with Freon removed.  The landfill does not accept any hazardous waste, medical waste, liquids, sludge, paints, whole tires, batteries, drums, asbestos or household trash.
