About Us

Family owned and operated since 1943, Solomon Metals based in Lynn, MA is one of the region’s largest independent recycled materials company. Solomon works with a wide variety of manufacturing companies, construction and demo firms, and even independent scrap metal collectors from around the Northeast.  From medical devices and defense to tool making and data centers, Solomon works aggressively with suppliers large and small by paying competitive rates and coaching driver’s on what the market is doing.  We carefully collect, sort, and send for recycling nonferrous metals once destined for the scrap heap. Solomon Metals, and other forward looking companies in the materials recycling industry play, an integral part in collecting metals that are sent to smelting companies for recycling and then remanufactured as cabling, stock, and critical components. Once referred to as scrap, the benefits to repurposing brass, copper and zinc significancy improves access to metals supplies, reduces some of the demand triggered by inflationary costs, and recycling has a direct and positive impact on the environment in which we all work.
