Originally from Lithuania, Pranas Bulka, the grandfather of the two current owners, moved to Montreal after the 2nd World War. He then settled in Quebec with his wife and grandchild Algis. In 1956, Pranas decided to found St-Hubert Fer & Metaux to offer its recycling services and skills to the greatest number of people. In 1990 two of his sons, Vic and Algis take charge and in 2004, Vic's daughter Danute took over the family business and continues to work as hard as his grandfather, uncle and father.
Mission Statement :
The mission of our company is clearly defined: to recycle scrap metal to give it a second life and to limit the environmental pollution caused by the extraction of metals in mines. Concerned about the environment, we are committed to avoiding the waste of metals which can be recycled or reused indefinitely.
