RUF (pronounced "roof") is the North American subsidiary of Ruf GmbH & Co. KG in Germany—a global leader in the development and manufacture of sophisticated industrial briquetting systems for more than 40 years. Starting with a press for bark, RUF has grown into a multi-national business, supplying over 3,000 briquetting systems to industries in more than 100 countries around the globe.

In North America, we began in 2008 with the establishment of a headquarters and operations facility in North Olmsted, Ohio. Since that time, we have actively engaged manufacturers and processors across the continent to educate them about the many benefits of briquetting residual waste as part of environmental responsibility initiatives and revenue generation. As our message continues to spread, our briquetting systems are quickly becoming integral parts of operations throughout the United States and beyond.
