Metal recycling information

When Rubino Brothers was first founded, phrases like 'environmental impact' and 'waste reduction' weren't exactly buzzwords. It was 1900. Cars were just a novelty. Flash forward to today, and the proliferation of junk metal is taking its toll on our community and our world.

Do your part to keep our towns clean and put some extra money in your pocket. Let Rubino Brothers take that scrap metal off your hands. We collect all grades of ferrous metals and non-ferrous metals. We'll even pick up that old junk car FREE if you have a title.

Waste reduction

Letting junk cars and scrap metal accumulate in your yard isn't doing you any good. Get rid of it, and make some money in the process. Call Rubino Brothers! Got a lot of metal? We'll come up with a waste reduction strategy to help you clean up your area and keep it that way.

Whether you're an individual homeowner or large-scale contractor, Rubino Brothers has the people and the equipment to handle the job. Full container service is available, too.

We maintain a high standard of container service

Whether it's a one-time service or long-term process, our goal is to make it easy on you. With full container service, you'll be paid by the ton for your scrap metal. Before you begin filling your container, be sure to call us for guidelines on what we can and can't accept. When it's full, give us a call. Our scales are regularly calibrated so you'll get a fair price every time.

Residential Pickup Service

Metal in and around your home. Please call for information on what we will pick up and other details. Fee will be determined by proximity to office and amount of metal picked up. The more metal you have the lower the fee charged.

Ferrous metal information

Ferrous" is derived from the word "ferrum," which is Latin for iron. So, any metal containing iron is a "ferrous metal." Rubino Brothers is standing by to pay you top dollar for your ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal.

Still not sure what's laying around in your yard? Examples of ferrous metals include steel, stainless steel, carbon and mild steel. There's also cast iron, wrought iron, and pig iron. If it's magnetic, it's a ferrous metal. Questions? Give us a call. We love to talk metal!

Non-ferrous metal information

Ferrous metals are those that contain iron. Non-ferrous metals don't, which isn't a bad thing. Non-ferrous metals are generally more expensive and desirable than ferrous metals due to their lower weight, conductivity and other properties.

Examples of non-ferrous metals include brass, copper, tin and aluminum. Surely you have some of these things gathering dust in your garage right now. Put them to good use, and put some money in your pocket. Bring the metal to us, or we'll pick it up.
