Northledgeis one of the largest producers of recycled concrete and asphalt in the Northeast—processing more than one million tons of recyclable products every year. Portable rock crushing helps to maintain a balanced site and keeps operations on schedule by utilizing excess rock for the stone base. Eliminating the export of excess rock or burying rock on site can minimize waste and reduce costs.
Asphalt is crushed to produce RAP (recycled asphalt product) which is a superior sub-base material to the traditional crushed stone. Waste Concrete can also be recycled, known as RCP (recycled concrete product) to be utilized for a sub-base material, both of which minimize waste and reduce costs.
Recycled concrete is an environmentally friendly product, made from demolished structures, construction waste and other sources of broken concrete. It is a cost effective alternative for stone base material.
