Weekly Single Stream Recycling

Recyling is picked up every week on the same day as your trash pick-up, Recycling must be curbside either the night before or by 5:00 am the morning of service. A recycle container can be provided with your service for a minimal monthly rental fee. Please ask the office staff when inquiring about service.Single stream (also known as “fully commingled” or "single-sort") recycling refers to a system in which all paper fibers, plastics, metals, and other containers are mixed in a collection truck, instead of being sorted by the depositor into separate commodities (newspaper, paperboard, Corrugated fiberboard, plastic, glass, etc.) and handled separately throughout the collection process. In single stream, both the collection and processing systems are designed to handle this fully commingled mixture of recyclables, with materials being separated for reuse at a materials recovery facility.

Proponents of single stream note several advantages:

• Reduced sorting effort by residents may mean more recyclables are placed at the curb and more residents may participate in recycling;
• Reduced collection costs because single-compartment trucks are cheaper to purchase and operate, collection can be automated, and collection routes can be serviced more efficiently;
• Greater fleet flexibility which allows single compartment vehicles to be used for refuse or recycling, providing greater fleet flexibility and reducing the number of reserve vehicles needed. To avoid confusing customers, a large sign or banner is sometimes used to distinguish when a refuse truck is being used for recycling.
• Worker injuries may decrease because the switch to single stream is often accompanied by a switch from bins to cart-based collection.
• Changing to single stream may provide an opportunity to update the collection and processing system and to add new materials to the list of recyclables accepted; and
  More paper grades may be collected, including junk mail, telephone books and mixed residential paper.

Weekly Residential Trash Service

Cans are provided free of charge for all our monthly customers! We offer 96 (largest available), 65 and 35 gallon can service. Each can has a serial number that has been assigned to your specific address.The 96, 65, and 35 gallon cans are for your household garbage. This garbage will be emptied once weekly on your scheduled pick-up day.LMR Disposal LLC trash and recycling service areas include Warren and Hunterdon counties in NJ & Northampton county in PA. Extra-Pickups / Bulk Waste / Yard Debris

• Bulk Waste Includes: furniture, mattresses, construction debris and other large items which cannot be placed in the cart. This also includes appliances, stoves, refrigerators, water tanks, washing machines, dryers, etc.
• Bulk Waste does not include: dead animals or hazardous waste.
• Bulk waste will be picked up on a scheduled basis. Please contact our office and let the staff know exactly what you have for pick-up. At that time we can provide pricing, payment and pick-up arrangements.
• Keep in mind the idea of recycling these products and reducing the waste stream. If we simply throw them away, they are taken directly to the landfills. Ways we can recycle these products are:
• Call the Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. When you have old clothes, furniture, or even computers and TV's. Many times these donations are tax deductible, and it also helps out those individuals who are needy.
