About Yard

Austin, Texas takes pride in being a green city but some years ago, there used to be an underserved market of consumers who knew about the lack of e-waste recycling companies in the community. That’s what drove us to put up Little Miss Recycle in February of 2011.From day one, the response to our little endeavor has been incredible! As the demand for recycling services in the city continues to grow, we expand our services to include eco-sensitive recycling of computers, monitors, printers, servers, and more.We work hard to create a seamless, hassle-free recycling experience. At the same time, we focus on providing outstanding customer service.

Michelle is in charge of marketing, managing the website, heading the accounting department, and writing the company’s blog posts. Erik, on the other hand, manages all customer accounts, supervises the company's day-to-day operations, and personally sees to it that industry best practices are observed in the handling of all recyclable material. At Little Miss Recycle, our goal is to help you find sustainable, environmentally-conscious recycling solutions for your office. It’s more than just a business for us because it is our way of life. As a proud member of the Austin Independent Business Alliance, we aim to become one of the city’s most environmentally responsible local businesses.

Computer and E-Waste Recycling
Don’t just throw away your old computers and electronic devices. Some of their components can still be reused and recycled. We’d be happy to dispose of them properly using responsible recycling methods. Best of all, we will do most of it for free!
Empty Toner Cartridges
Ink and laser toner cartridges, as well as fusers, do not have to end up in the landfill and add to the non-biodegradable mess piling up all over the planet. We specialize in the collection and recycling of these used-up consumables so that we can reuse them. It is the best way of keeping non-renewable resources down to a minimum. We charge a small nominal fee for recycling toners. Call us to get your program started!

Recycling Made Easy
Getting rid of non-renewable material can be done in four easy steps. Follow each one of these steps below:

  • Use them until they reach their maximum duty cycles.
  • Collect them for subsequent disposal (about eight items or more).
  • Give us a call or email us to schedule pickups.
  • Allow us to pick up the recyclables.

Customized Solutions
We urge you to follow the same practices in your business. Let our knowledge and expertise help you implement convenient, affordable, and customized recycling solutions.

Why You Need to Recycle Waste Materials

More than providing business owners with a no-brainer solution to office junk disposal, Little Miss Recycle in Austin, Texas goes the extra mile to promote green office practices. As we make our services conveniently available to more companies, we work harder to inform our customers about the long-term benefits of recycling.

Recycle and Save
Not recycling makes hardworking people like you pay more taxes to keep landfill operations going. This can be burdensome for everyone. By recycling, companies can save on cost and energy. It takes significantly less money and energy to remanufacture cartridges than to produce new ones.
Keep Greenhouse Gas Levels Down
In 2007, an estimated 3 million tons of consumer electronics, including televisions, DVD players, and stereos were discarded. During the same year, approximately only 414,000 tons of electronics were collected for recycling in the U.S. This prevented the release of greenhouse gas equivalent to the annual emissions of more than 178,000 cars.
Our Solution, Your Call
We offer simple and convenient solutions to pressing environmental concerns. Heighten your awareness and help protect our planet. Call or email us to learn more or to request a quote.
