Established in 1985, Lindsay Iron and Metal Inc. has made an astounding impact on iron and metal recycling in The City of Kawartha Lakes, and surrounding areas. Located in Lindsay, Ontario our main mission is to prevent landfill overflow that negatively impacts the community & the planet.

With this mission, our company has become an industry leader in iron and metal recycling. Successfully being one of the first recycling businesses in Canada who own and operate a mobile baler.

Were a proud participant of Switch Out, a program by Summerhill Impact the Clean Air Foundation. Since we joined in 2008, through this program we've successfully recovered  mercury switches.

We've been awarded the Gold Switch Award, for 5 years of participation in the national Switch Out program by the Clean Air Foundation.
