G & R Auto Parts

G&R Auto Parts is a third generation business which has provided leadership and experience to the automotive recycling industry. This legacy has given its customers quality used auto parts for over forty years. G&R was founded in 1956 by Lawrence Greene, who set the foundation which would allow G&R to grow into a nationally recognized recycling facility.

Alan Greene, active in the business since 1961, is the current operator. His leadership has transformed the 1,200 square foot building, on eleven acres, into a 26,700 square foot recycling center, which, in 1978, began the specialization of General Motors products.

G&R was recognized by the Automotive Recyclers Asoc. (ARA) in 1983, and received the National Beautification Award.

G&R is licensed by the state of Oklahoma as a parts recyler. It operates a clean, environmentally safe facility which complies to all applicable rules, regulations, and standards of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

The current generation has continued to improve and modernize the business through the installation of the ADP/Hollander Yard management inventory system in 1990. This system links over 2,100 yards nationwide electronically to create new avenues for the marketing of its product. An aggressive advertising program has also been implemented using an outside sales person to enhance customer satisfaction. G&R is in the process of becoming a member of the Certified Automotive Recyclers Program (CAR). This program will recognize G&R, nationally, as a leading competitor of the industry improving: value, image, and profitability by committing to the high standards of the program. As an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce G&R keeps abreast and involved with the community.

Future goals for G&R include the expansion of its current facility with continued growth in production, service, and quality. G&R takes pride in maintaining its business practices with the highest integrity and is dedicated to remaining a pioneer in the recycling industry.
