Safety & Protection

With each project and every remediation task our clients deserve and receive the most cost effective services with the absolute highest level of liability and contractual protection available in the industry today. All FRS vehicles are insured with a minimum of $5 million liability protection and each of our fleet trucks transports clean, emptied containers for retrieval of recyclables and hazardous substances.In the recycling, remediation and hazardous material management, safety must always be the first consideration. On the field or in the laboratory, stringent precautionary measures are adhered to by FRS technicians at all times during the recycling process.

We are proud of the recognition that we’ve received for consistently complying with State-regulated recycling procedures. The California Highway Patrol has awarded our “innovative motor carrier safety programs” with their Certificate of Achievement, and Southern CA Air Quality Management District has praised our energy-saving reclamation of waste oil, paper matrix and metal. To provide more peace of mind, FRS facility is equipped with 24 hour surveillance cameras monitoring all aspects of the recycle/disposal process.

California’s Largest Recycler of Regulated Waste

FRS owns and operates a state of the art Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF) for waste recycling, and waste consolidation. Over the years, FRS has developed a network of working relationships with other TSDF’s offering recycling or treatment alternatives allowing our customers to choose which the best for their specific location is. 

E-WASTE

The term “e-waste” is applied to consumer electronic equipment that is broken, obsolete or otherwise no longer wanted. E-waste can include computers, printers, televisions, VCRs, cell phones, fax machines, stereos and electronics. These electronic devices may contain lead, copper, and other heavy metals or potentially toxic substances.

In California, you’re no longer allowed to dispose of electronics with regular garbage. If you have functioning electronics, the best option is to donate them to your local charity therefore prolonging their useful life. Send us your nonfunctioning or obsolete equipment and we will recycle them as part of the Covered Electronic Waste Recovery and Recycling Program established by California’s Electronic Waste Recycling Act of 2003.

FRS has the equipment and qualified personal to handle any of your E-waste needs. For a minimal fee, Filter Recycling can come to your home or business and take care of the packaging and transporting of your e-waste to our permitted recycling facility.

PRODUCT DESTRUCTION

FRS is your one-stop solution for product destruction. We offer complete certified destruction services, with video documentation, recycling of raw materials and a host of transportation, de-packaging and disposal options to accommodate our customer’s needs. We make every effort to recycle the raw materials of items destroyed in a safe and economic manner. Depending on your product destruction requirements, FRS can use a variety of shredding, crushing, and manual destruction processes to achieve the desired result.

FRS services ensure that your brand and business names are protected at all times. Our technicians can collect, sort, package, manifest, transport and dispose of a wide range of consumer products and materials. Previous certified destruction projects include cosmetics, perfumes, aerosol cans, bulk foods, liquids, soaps, flammable materials, expired equipment from law enforcement agencies and consumer goods.

If the customer opts to package the discontinued or recalled products themselves, we can provide the packing materials, supplies and containers. FRS will collect, sort, package, manifest, transport and manage all product destruction and product disposal in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
