ERC is a family-owned and operated recycling business. We are open to the public, welcoming residential and commercial recyclers.Obsolete electronics are one of the fastest growing portions our country’s waste stream. In some areas e-waste is growing at about three times faster than any other type of waste. By recycling, we can lower the amount of waste and contribute to our environment by keeping toxic materials from contaminating the soil and leaching into our ground water. In 1998, over 112 million pounds of materials were recovered, and some reused, from recycled electronics including lead, steel, glass, and plastic.

Some old electronics can create environmental hazards and legal liabilities if they are disposed of improperly. With more than four pounds of lead in many TV picture tubes and computer monitors, along with other potentially hazardous materials such as mercury, chromium, and cadmium, electronics call for special handling at the end of their lives.

Services

• We will pick up on site. Your old electronics will be brought to our facility to identify and recycle.

• For handling services, we will properly take your equipment to the desired destination.

• We can perform an itemized inventory of the materials being picked up upon request.

• We carefully shrink-wrap all pallets and have them ready to be taken to our facility or wherever is needed.

• Our drivers do the work for you by preparing the shipment and restocking inventory.
