With our 12-acre, 80,000-square-foot complex in Utica, New York,  Empire is one of the nation's largest recycling centers for metals and paper. Our family has been in the scrap metal business for over 90 years - our family began by recycling rags and metals. We have expanded over the decades to include all types of metal and paper and also shredding of confidential documents. We often use the slogan "we make it all go away". Today, we oversee the operation and growth of eight divisions across New York State.
