eCycle Florida is an eco-friendly organization formed in 2012 that is dedicated to the disposal of office, communications, and IT infrastructure by recycling used electronics (e-scrap) in the Sunshine state Florida.We are a local company with the Tampa Bay community in mind. We are involved in community projects and give back to our city. 

Environmentally minded: being part of the circular economy

Plastic, copper, steel and other precious metals are the main materials in today’s electronic products. When time comes to disposing of these, how much better to have them recycled so that these precious materials can be used to make new products.Aside from this, it just isn’t good for the environment to put old electric products in landfill. Some contain materials which are fine when the product is being used, but which could be hazardous if allowed to breakdown in the ground over many years

Due to the low stock of natural supplies as well as the high demand, ITO is considered one of the scarcest natural resources in the world. This has led to increased focus on recycling Indium in which Japan, China and Korea are leaders at present.

Data Destruction

At eCycle Florida, our very first priority in any recycling opportunity is the protection of our clients’ data. As part of our commitment to having ultra-secure and environmentally responsible IT asset recycling and data destruction, eCycle Florida has achieved compliance with all major Federal, State and industry regulations.We provide a complete Certificate of Destruction for all of the data sensitive material, as well as an overall COD for everything that is recycled. We follow all Federal, state and local guidelines in handling of the materials. Normally, there is a cost involved with the wiping of hard drives and data destruction, but since you would be a part of our initial rebranding and one of the first projects under the new name, we would waive any and all fees associated with the services we provide
