Dan Christensen started in the waste industry in 2002 working for the 2nd largest waste company in the country while attending college at EIU. He held various operations jobs at hauling companies, transfer stations, and landfills including: laborer, operator, container delivery, driver, supervisor, operations manager, and general manager. At one point Dan ran a hauling company with 130 routes, and at another time 3 hauling companies, 2 transfer stations, and a landfill over an area covering 4 states. During that time he had 42 city contracts and ran one of the largest landfills in the country in Pontiac, IL.Dan was raised and currently resides in Sandwich, IL. The DC Trash staff, are committed to providing the best waste and recycling services to the communities that they live in and serve.
Trash Removal
DC Trash offers waste removal services for homes and businesses as well as industrial non-hazardous special waste. Waste is collected in state of the art trash collection vehicles and disposed of in subtitle D landfill facilities who comply with local, state, and federal EPA regulations. You can trust that the waste you produce will be managed responsibly and ethically whether you use your own containers, or a large 96 gallon cart provided by DC Trash!

If you have a large project such as demolition, remodeling, construction, or plan to clean out a space of your home a roll-off container might be the most cost effective way to manage that waste. We offer all sizes of containers from 2 yards to 40 yards of capacity. We’re here to help you get the job done.
Recycling Collection
Recyclable items include: plastics, paper, newspaper, cardboard, tin, aluminum, and metal. Items that can’t be collected for recycling include: foam, wood and in some cases glass. We offer 96 Gallon Carts (pictured) as well as 18 gallon recycle bins. Rest assured that when we collect your recyclable materials we will send them to industry leading material recovery facilities. These facilities sort and market materials to buyers around the world for reuse.
