Recycling

Con-Serv Industries (CSI) provides single-stream recycling. Single-stream recycling is the mixing of all recyclable materials into a single container for collection and processing.  CSI carries the following recycling container sizes .  Some sizes only available for certain contracts.

Non-Recyclable

• Paper towels, napkins, tissues
• Bound books
• Beverage glasses or tempered glass (i.e. window glass)
• Cellophane, shrink wrap, or packing materials (i.e. styrofoam, peanuts, and bubble wrap)
• Any containers that held hazardous materials (i.e. motor oil, paints, thinners, or household chemicals.

We provide service for the following:

• where we contract with a town to provide service to all of their residents.
• where we contract to provide service to a group of homes within a community.
• where we contract directly with an individual homeowner to provide service.

All of our residential programs are tailored to meet the needs of the individual communities, working within the framework of local ordinances.CSI also provides recycling toters or bins for single-stream recycling. CSI encourages all residents to recycle as much material as possible to minimize the amount of waste going into area landfills.

Commercial Services

Con-Serv Industries, Inc. (CSI) offers front-load and rear-load waste and recycling services with container capacities ranging from 2 cubic yards to 8 cubic yards. All containers are equipped with heavy-duty plastic lids. Larger front-load containers may also have sliding access doors on the sides of the containers. If required, containers can also be fitted with a locking mechanism to prevent unauthorized access.

Waste Collection

CSI trucks service containers located behind buildings, in parking lots, loading areas, and underground service docks. Waste collection can be provided up to 6 days per week.

Recycling Collection

Containers are also available for single-stream recycling. In order to maximize container space, larger front-load containers can be supplied with a slot in the front of the container requiring boxes to be flattened before they are placed into the container.

Dumpster Services

Con-Serv Industries (CSI) provides both permanent and temporary open top roll-off containers (Construction Dumpsters).  These dumpsters are used for various commercial and residential waste and/or recycling projects and are readily available in 20 and 30 cubic yards.  Our excellent hauling services can be tailored to fit almost any special delivery and collection time restriction(s). Our services are available in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.CSI containers are constructed with reinforced steel, well maintained, freshly painted, and are available with swing-open back doors.Construction companies, business, and homeowners can benefit from our hauling services. We can accept most nonhazardous-solid waste material generated on a typical residential, or commercial construction project.

Compactor

Con-Serv Industries, Inc. (CSI) rents, leases and sells a full range of compactors. Where waste volume reduction is important, our compactors can handle many different and specialized applications for both dry and wet wastes. Compactors are used in office parks, shopping malls, high volume restaurants, warehouses, institutions, and apartment complexes. Compactors are also useful for the compacting of cardboard and mixed paper for recycling.

The two most popular styles of compactors are stationary and self-contained. Stationary compactors are used in application where the waste is relatively dry, such as retail stores and warehouses. Self-contained compactors are designed specifically for applications where there is wet waste, such as grocery stores and restaurants.New to our equipment lineup is an auger-style compactor. The auger system can crush and compact a broad range of materials, including wet and dry wastes. These systems can process a larger variety and a higher volume of cardboard, plastic, pallets, bulky waste, and other kinds of refuse than other types of trash compactors on the market today.
