Weekly Trash Pickup in Fairfield 

We offer residential trash and recycling service to almost all of Fairfield. We offer both curbside and in-yard pick-up options with your pails or with one of our supplied carts.

Grasshopper service is designed to be the perfect solution for your yard waste needs. All yard waste must be disposed of at a proper compost facility and cannot be collected with household trash. We started the grasshopper service as a simple option for homeowners.

Single-Stream Recycling Info

Fairfield has started collecting recycling single stream. This means that all recyclables should be placed in one container and comingled; there is no need to separate paper.
Recycling pickup is scheduled for the same day as your household trash pickup. Recycling materials will be collected from the blue bin, blue recycling cart or other clearly marked container (30 gallons max) at the curbside only unless special arangments have been made.

All Plastic, glass and metal should all be rinsed and comingled loose in the blue bin. Do not include plastic bags!
If you have special recycling needs, please call our office to make arrangements. The following items cannot be taken during a standard pickup:
