To this day, Metaalhandel HB is a very modern recycling company that has all the necessary tools to process, process and transport old metals as quickly and efficiently as possible. However, it has not always been that way. The Baum family has been buying and selling scrap metals since 1950. However, things were very different then than now and everything was picked up and unloaded by hand. When the company was handed over to the current generation in 1992, a lot changed. Old metals were equipped with loading cranes with modern trucks and collected with container systems. The processing of metals was also approached differently by this generation. Cutting metals was done fully automatically by cutting shears and loading containers went a lot faster with transfer cranes.
Now, in 2011, our company owns several trucks that drive throughout the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium to collect and deliver old metals. The location on the Eikdonk in Breda is designed in such a way that all old metals can be stored easily. The site meets the strictest environmental requirements, such as a liquid-tight floor. A modern machine park makes the processing of old metals a lot easier and thanks to various calibrated weighing systems you are always assured of the correct weight of your old metals.
