Non-Ferrous Scrap TOP

Non-ferrous scraps are those that contain little or no iron. When products made from these metals such as aluminum beverage cans, copper wiring or automobile batteries, complete their useful life, they become scrap metal and can be recycled to manufacture new consumer products. Recycled non-ferrous scrap are an important raw material in maturing a major percentage of our metal consumption needs while conserving natural resources such as virgin ores. It has been found that far less energy is required to manufacture products from recycled scrap than from virgin metals.

SERVICES

Our products conform to international trading standards, mainly ISRI specifications, however, whenever necessary, we can also process certain separate quality standards, according to the specific needs of individual consumers of steel scrap. Besides a very strict in-house quality control system, we have all our products inspected and certified during and after loading ships and/or containers, by internationally recognized independent inspection companies.

All the scrap yards are equipped with advanced radioactivity detectors, installed at the weighing bridge. Furthermore all the yards are equipped with advanced handheld detectors in order to check incoming scrap delivered by ship. Furthermore we also maintain very strict environmental and safety regulations, designed to safeguard all persons who are involved in the handling, transportation and use of our products.
