My name is Carole McLeod, owner of Advantage Waste Recycling & Disposal, Inc. Once again, I have committed myself to the waste and recycling industry. I have been involved in this industry for over twenty years in the Charlotte Metro area. You may remember my first company, New South Waste. My employees have also been in the industry for combined over 3o years.Advantage Waste bought MacLeod Construction’s waste division in March of this year. Yes, we two scots got together and passed the “tabor” I appreciate given this opportunity to carry on what they started. My vision is to create a company that takes the level of recycling up a step; we have started in the construction and demo industry.

Residential Recycling

Recycling bins should be out by the curb no later than 6:30am. Place recycle bin(s) beside your mailbox at least 3 feet away from any other obstacles (ie., other bins, roll-out carts, cars, etc.) Do not block Postal carrier from getting to your mailbox. Recycling is picked up on the same day as your trash BY A DIFFERENT TRUCK.

• Paint, Thinners, Solvents
• Pizza Delivery Boxes
• Packing Peanuts(Styrofoam), household items (glasses, dishes, clothes)
• Wire clothes hangers
•  Fluorescent light bulbs
• Household batteries
• Pesticides
• Small appliances
• Absolutely no household garbage in the recycle bin.
• Please do not place any type of oil in your trash can.
