SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Domtar Corporation announced new appointments to its management committee. These appointments are aimed at streamlining and simplifying the company’s management structure. Also, these are likely to help the company to work on lowering costs and refocusing on its paper, pulp and packaging portfolios.
According to company press release, Maria Brennan has been appointed to the role of senior vice president, procurement. Also, James (Bill) Edwards has been appointed to the role of senior vice president, pulp and paper operations. The company also announced appointment of Steven Henry to the role of senior vice president, packaging. The other appointments include Stephen Makris to the role of senior vice president, business transformation and Robert Melton as the senior vice president, pulp and paper commercial.
The appointment of the above leaders will be with effect from February 23, 2021.
Domtar announced that Zygmunt Jablonski, senior vice president and chief legal and administrative officer will depart on April 2, 2021 after 13 long years of service with the company. With effect from that date, Nancy Klembus will assume the role of senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. Also, Richard McAtee will assume the role of senior vice president, human resources.
