Paper Recycling Conference to be held in India early next year

NEW DELHI (Scrap Monster): The Recycling Today Media Group (RTMG), as part of its strategy to expand into world’s fastest growing paper markets, will organize a two-day Paper Recycling Conference in India early next year.

The conference is scheduled to be held at Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi on January 29th-30th, 2015. The event will be held in association with The Indian Paper Manufacturers Association, the Indian Pulp & Paper Technical Association and the Indian Agro & Recycled Paper Mills Association.

The estimated paper consumption in India is projected to reach 13.95 million tons by 2015-’16. Indian newsprint demand is projected to grow at 9% per annum. According to RTMG, the conference targets all facets of the Indian paper and paper recycling industry. It attempts to capitalize on the rapidly developing paper industry in the country.

The conference will offer the participants an insight into recovered paper market in India. It will also discuss how the local recovered paper market will be affected by global demand trends. The Conference supported by Waste & Recycling India magazine and Waste & Recycling Middle East magazine will also highlight the challenges inherent in today’s marketplace.
