North American copper scrap prices dropped slightly on 1st Oct, 2015

The North American copper scrap prices declined marginally on Thursday, October 1st.

North American copper scrap prices dropped slightly on 1st Oct, 2015

MONTREAL (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices edged marginally lower on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on October 1st, Thursday.

The price of Alternator scrap remained unchanged over the previous day. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing declined by $0.02 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.02 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright too went lower by $ 0.02 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery remained flat from the previous day. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices were unchanged. #3 Copper-Light copper prices dropped by $0.02 per Lb to reach $1.84 per Lb.

The prices of Copper Radiator scrap held flat from previous day’s levels. Copper Transformer Scrap prices remained unchanged. CuYokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices too witnessed no change from the previous day.

Meanwhile, the prices of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe remained flat on Oct 1st, 2015.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater cores prices remained flat over the day.

The price of Romex Wire were unchanged at $1.62 per Lb.     

The prices of Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed units, Starters and Xmas Lights maintained the previous day price levels.
