SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Cleveland, Ohio-headquartered steel processor Majestic Steel USA, Inc. announced its decision to build a new service center cum processing facility, which will be located at the Nucor Hickman Steel Campus in Blytheville. The proposed facility will span over 515,000 square feet. Upon full operation, it is expected to generate around 225 new jobs. The company expects the facility to be completed before the end of 2022.

Commenting on the decision, Todd Leebow, President and CEO, Majestic Steel noted that the announcement reinforces the company’s commitment to provide the best-in-class supply chain solution and value addition to its customers and further strengthen its relationship with Nucor. The investment aims to offer combined benefit of localized service and national resources to its customers, Leebow added.
The move will help Majestic to ensure better services to its customers in the central and southern regions of the country. The facility will process and stock high-quality steel products to cater to the requirements of businesses in the region.
Troy Brooks, Nucor vice president & general manager, Nucor Steel Arkansas said that they are excited have the Majestic Steel USA facility on its campus.
