4th September, 2019: Chinese Scrap Metal Prices Exhibited Mixed Trend on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices reported mixed trend on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on September 4^th, Wednesday. Steel prices held steady over the day. Aluminum, Copper, Brass and Bronze scrap prices recorded marginal increase. Meantime, Stainless Steel scrap prices edged lower on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 200 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 200 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too surged higher by CNY 50 per MT when compared with the day before.

Copper Transformer Cu Yokes prices were unchanged on Index.

Cu/Al Radiator prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices saw no change in price.

Heater Cores were up by CNY 50 per MT on Wednesday, September 4^th.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices held steady on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots prices too were up by CNY 100 per MT.

Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers remained flat on Index.

E.C Aluminum Wire, Old Cast and Old Sheet prices jumped higher by CNY 50 per MT each on September 4^th, 2019.

UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices witnessed no change when compared with the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 4^th September, 2019.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices declined by CNY 100 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT.

The price of 304 SS Turning dropped by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed decrease of CNY 200 per MT and CNY 300 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged lower by CNY 200 per MT over the day on September 4^th.

Shred SS prices were down by CNY 150 per MT.

 Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China edged higher marginally on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady on September 4^th, 2019.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT each.
