30th December, 2022: Scrap Gold and Platinum Prices Surged, Silver Unmoved

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked were up on Friday, December 30^th, 2022 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However, the prices of Silver scrap held steady over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices surged by $5.90 per Oz on Index. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went higher by $ 7.57 per Oz and $ 9.24 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 3.79 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap increased by $ 10.20 per Oz to reach $ 751.72 per Oz. Silver scrap prices remained flat at $19.63 per Oz when compared with the prior day.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 5.58 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 7.15 and $ 8.75 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 3.58 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed up move of $ 10.20 per Oz to reach $ 751.72 per Oz. Silver scrap prices witnessed no change over the day.
