20th Feb, 2017: Scrap Gold, Silver and Platinum prices fall on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined sharply Monday, 20^th February, 2017 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped on Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 3.43 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 4.40 and $ 5.37 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 2.20 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 2.19 per Oz to touch $ 736.41 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $14.80 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.02 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 3.25 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 4.16 and $ 5.09 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 2.08 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell modestly by $ 2.19 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed marginal fall of $ 0.01 per Oz.
