BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese copper scrap prices surged higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on July 17^th, Tuesday. Aluminum and Steel scrap prices remained unchanged on Index. Stainless Steel scrap prices declined from the previous day. However, Brass/Bronze prices edged higher on Index.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 300 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 300 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up marginally by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too increased by CNY 50 per MT.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices edged higher by CNY 50 per MT.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices held steady on Tuesday, July 17^th.

Also, Heater Cores, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved.

Old Cast prices too were flat on 17^th July, 2018.

The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.

Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 17^th July, 2018.

Cast Iron Scrap too reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices declined by CNY 100 per MT.

304 SS Solid prices were down by CNY 150 per MT.

The price of 304 SS Turning dropped by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day.

309 SS and 310 SS prices witnessed decline of CNY 250 per MT and CNY 350 per MT respectively.

316 SS Solid scrap prices edged lower by CNY 250 per MT over the day on July 17^th.

Shred SS prices too were down by CNY 150 per MT.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded marginal increase on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices inched higher by CNY 50 per MT on July 17^th, 2018.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too were up by CNY 50 per MT each on Index.
