11th March, 2024: Chinese Copper Scrap Prices Dropped on Index

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese scrap metal prices mostly remained unchanged on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on March 11^th, Monday. Steel and Aluminum scrap prices remained unchanged over the previous day. Copper and Brass/Bronze scrap prices recorded decline.  Stainless Steel scrap prices witnessed no change from the previous day.

Copper Scrap Prices

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price decline of CNY 400 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also decreased by CNY 400 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices have dropped by CNY 200 per MT on Index. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices dipped by CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.

Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices registered marginal decline by CNY 50 per MT each over the previous day.

Cu/Al Radiator prices inched lower by CNY 100 per MT.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices inched lower by CNY 50 per MT on Monday, March 11^th.

Also, Heater Cores prices dipped by CNY 150 per MT.

Meantime, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices were flat on Index.

Aluminum Scrap Prices

6063 Extrusions witnessed no change in prices over the previous day.

Aluminum Ingots too remained unchanged.

The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers saw no variation.

E.C Aluminum Wire prices remained unmoved.

Old Cast prices too were flat on 11^th March, 2024.

The prices of Old Sheets and UBC held steady on Index.

Zorba 90% INF prices saw no change from the previous day.

Steel Scrap Prices

#1 HMS prices held steady on 11^th March, 2024.

Cast Iron Scrap reported no change in prices.

Stainless Steel Scrap Prices

201 SS prices were unchanged on Index.

304 SS Solid prices too remained flat over the previous day.

The price of 304 SS Turning saw no change on Index.

309 SS and 316 SS prices held steady when compared with the prior day.

310 SS Solid scrap prices were flat on March 11^th, 2024.

Shred SS prices too saw no variation in prices over the day.

Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices

The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China posted decline on Index.

Brass Radiator scrap prices dipped marginally by CNY 50 per MT on March 11^th, 2024.

Red Brass and Yellow Brass prices too declined by CNY 100 per MT each on Index.
