10th October, 2018: Scrap Gold and Silver Prices Surged, Platinum Unchanged on Index

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked moved higher from previous day on Wednesday, 10^th October, 2018 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Meantime, the prices of Platinum scrap declined over the day.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices went higher by $ 1.73 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap also went higher by $ 2.22 per Oz and $ 2.71 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap prices increased by $ 1.11 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap remained unchanged over the previous day at $ 656.94 per Oz. Silver scrap prices saw marginal up tick of $0.04 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 1.64 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap too went up by $ 2.10 and $ 2.56 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also increased by $ 1.05 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap witnessed no change from the previous day. Meantime, Silver scrap prices inched higher by $ 0.03 per Oz during the day.
