PANAMA (Scrap Monster) : Panama Gem & Jewelry Center, the first and only dedicated facility for diamond has announced the opening of their new official website to be viewed in both Spanish and English. The website www.pdeentrelaunch.com has been launched to inform the opening of Panama Fem & Jewelry Centre anchored by the only diamond bourse of Latin America, Panama Diamond Exchange (PDE).  Designed by Ignacio Mallo and developed by Grupo Verde Azul and Grupo Los Pueblos, the centre has received best support of the Panamanian government and Parliament.

The new website announces the launch of Panama Gem & Jewelry Centre on March 17-18, 2014 in the presence of political and diamond industry experts from Latin America and across the world. Once it comes into reality, it would be the only choice for diamond-lovers across the South and Central America along with Caribbean and Mexico. The launch of the diamond facility centre will be honored by the President of Panama, Mr. Ricardo Martinelli.

Various other delegates also will be attending the launch including Mr. Eli Izhakoff, the President of  World Federation of the Diamond Bourses and World Diamond Council, Avi Paz, the President of the World Diamond Council, Mr. Ernest Blom, the Chairman of the World Federation of the Diamond Bourses, Gaetano Cavalieri, the CIBJO president, Shmuel Schnitzer, the President of the Israel Diamond Exchange, Moti Ganz, the Chairman of the Israel Diamond Institute and Ronnie VanderLinden, the President of the Diamond Manufacturers and Importers Association of the United States and Reuven Kaufman, the President of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York.

First stage of construction of the $ 200 million project has already begun with trading floors and diamond bourse offices and is hoped to complete by the fourth quarter of 2014. The second stage of construction will comprise of high-rise tower that includes trading floor of PDE, jewelry malls, pearl and precious metal companies and colored gemstone stores.
