Market Update- 29th Oct, 2014: Chinese copper scrap prices edge higher

BEIJING (Scrap Monster):  The Chinese copper scrap prices ended marginally higher on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on Wednesday, October 29^th.

The #1 Copper Bare Bright and #1 Copper Wire and Tubing saw price rise of CNY 100 per MT each.

The price of #2 Copper W ire and Tubing also increased by CNY 100 per MT.

#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices remained flat over the day at CNY 32,250 per MT. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery too remained unchanged.

Copper Transformer scrap prices saw no variation in prices over the previous day. No price-change was witnessed in Cu Yokes.

Cu/Al Radiator prices remained flat over the previous day.

Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores too maintained previous day’s levels on Wednesday, October 29^th.

Also, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices remained unchanged.
